Grand Banks is a new luxury apartment block in Teignmouth that we have provided acoustic design, consultancy & testing services for . The development consists of 20 one and two bedroom apartments with private balconies that have views overlooking the Teign Estuary to Shaldon.
Each apartment will be finished to a high standard with underfloor heating throughout. The spacious open plan living/kitchen area has double bi fold doors opening up onto the balcony. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower room and a further family bathroom. All apartments have underground parking and storage area.
A small developent of 2 flats over split levels ahd been created some years ago, the existing sound insulation performance didnt meet the required levels for ADE 2003. Through on-site testing and inspections a proposed floor upgrade was designed by us and installed by the biulder. The final results of sound tests achieved the minimum requirements for ADE 2003 with little strctural changes made.
